Privacy Policy

A simple explanation of what OpenPDF stores and how the service uses that information.

Effective date: March 7, 2026

What we collect

We process the files you upload for conversion, basic technical request data, and session information required to keep the service working. If you sign in with Google, we also store the Google account data returned to us, such as your name, email address, Google ID, and avatar URL.

How we use it

We use this information to run document conversions, protect the service from abuse, maintain user sessions, and support optional Google sign-in. We do not need your uploaded documents for advertising purposes.

Files and generated outputs

Uploaded files and generated outputs are processed and stored on the service infrastructure used by OpenPDF. Because this service handles real files on the server side, you should only upload documents that you are authorized to process and comfortable sending to the service.

Third parties

If you use Google sign-in, Google is involved only for authentication. OpenPDF may also rely on hosting, storage, and infrastructure providers to operate the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Policy updates

This privacy policy may be updated when the service changes. Continued use of OpenPDF after an update means you accept the revised policy.
